AP PSYCHOLOGY · UNIT 1
Frankenstein’s Lab. It’s alive. Now make it work.
The Halloween festival is almost ready. Your creature’s first night out brings 15 biological mysteries and an overconfident lab assistant. Follow the evidence, test the explanation, and get Frank ready for the festival.
Each case is a short investigation into AP Psychology Unit 1, Biological Bases of Behavior. Students observe an incident, choose which tests to run, predict the result before they see it, then explain what the evidence supports in a short written field note. The cases cover the nervous system and neural firing, brain structures, sleep, sensation, and heredity and environment:
- The snack stand incident
- The pumpkin delivery
- The costume contest announcement
- The split brain mask test
- The witch’s switched bottles
- The overnight watch
- The vampire’s reversed clock
- The blackout maze
- The phantom bell
- The vanishing pumpkin flavor
- The spinning haunted tunnel
- The creature copies
- The lantern that won’t lift
- The haunted house rehearsal
- The night guard’s missing memories
Every case stands alone, so students can work through an assigned set or explore at their own pace. Work saves in the browser, and the lab report collects every answer and written response to print or hand in.
